Mrs. Ann L. Hahn

Saginaw, Michigan

September 9, 1920 - May 29, 2009

  She was called home to her Lord on Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Tendercare of Saginaw. Age 88 years. Ann was born on September 9, 1920, in Alma, MI to the late Clifford and Flossie (Slater) Cummings. She was married to Manley E. Hahn on December 31, 1941, in Alma, MI. He predeceased her on November 4, 2000. She was graduated from CMU with a BA; was a member of Ames United Methodist Church; Past President of Church Women United; member of United Methodist Women; was an accomplished accompanist as an organist, having played at Ames United Methodist, State Street United Methodist; she volunteered as a deliverer for the Meals on Wheels in Saginaw and Cadillac. Ann loved to work her genealogy study of her family tree! Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Rev. Robert A. (Carolyn) Hahn, New Smyrna Beach, FL; Jeffrey L. (Barbara) Hahn, Chicago; Roberta A. (William) Helpap, Saginaw; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Clifford Cummings Jr., Tallahassee, FL; two nephews, Ron and Greg Cummings, Tallahassee, FL. 
  Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at the Ames United Methodist Church, 801 State St. Pastor Mark Karls and Rev. Robert Hahn will officiate. Private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Alma, MI. Friends are welcome to visit at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., then at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to Ames United Methodist Church.
