Mr. Clarence J. Corl

March 1, 1926 - June 12, 2009

  Beloved father and grandfather passed away on Friday, June 12, 2009, at The Lutheran Home – Frankenmuth. Age 83 years. Clarence was born on March 1, 1926, in Lambertville, MI to the late Arthur and Ellen (Murphy) Corl. He married Lorraine (Meyer) Miller in 1963 and she predeceased him on June 6, 2007. Clarence served in the US Merchant Marines during WWII and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, Clarence was employed in quality control with General Motors. Surviving is his son, Kevin (Wendy) Corl, Frankenmuth; their children, Mack, Hudson and Cooper Corl; three step-children, Cris Miller, Saginaw; Neil (Pam) Miller, Saginaw; Paul Miller, Birch Run, step-grandchildren, Stacee Miller, Kari Miller, Robin Miller, and Tanya Benton; step-great grandchildren, Madison Benton, Taylor Benton, Megan Benton and Marina Root; also several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
