Mrs. Irene E. Pattie

  Passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009, in West Branch, Mich. at the age of 81 years. Irene was born on July 12, 1928, in Saginaw Co. to the late George and Anna (Lange) Dow. She was married to William N. Pattie, Sr. on July 19, 1927, and he predeceased her on May 17, 1980. Surviving are two sons and their spouses, William (Diane) Pattie, Jr., The Villages, FL; George (Mary) Pattie, Vancouver, Washington; grandchildren, Frank Pattie, Roger Pattie, Jon Pattie, Alex Pattie and Matthew Pattie; sister, Leone Bershing; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother, Alma Zuzak, Marie Hawes and Paul Dow.
  Funeral and committal services will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Russell Schmidt will officiate. Private burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Bortz HealthCare, 445 S. Valley St., West Branch, Michigan 48661.
