Mr. David Miller, Jr.

January 15, 1926 - September 30, 2009

David passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, September 30, 2009, on his farm. Age 83 years. David was born on January 15, 1926, in Saginaw to the late David Miller, Sr. and Erma (Kuehn) Miller. He was married to Norene Evelyn Dewey on July 27, 1957, in Birch Run. She predeceased him on July 24, 2007. David was born, raised and later worked as a farmer from the same home. He also worked at Saginaw Malleable Iron for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1985. He was a charter member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter. David will always be remembered by his family and friends, three brothers, Arthur and Artie Miller, Robert and Lois Miller, and Ronald and Lois Miller, all of Saginaw; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William and Jean Dewey, Shaverton, Penn; Agnes and Richard Wilinski, Birch Run; Mary Bell and Errol Ross, Birch Run; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a special friend, Marian Payne.
  Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3412 Crestmont. The Rev. Michael Wilke will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at Gethsemane Lutheran Church on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
