1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

2. RISK EVALUATION

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could result in the exposure of sensitive information and the manipulation of critical functions by an attacker.

3. TECHNICAL DETAILS

3.1 AFFECTED PRODUCTS

The following versions of Brightpick AI’s warehouse automation platform, are affected:

3.2 VULNERABILITY OVERVIEW

3.2.1 MISSING AUTHENTICATION FOR CRITICAL FUNCTION CWE-306

The Brightpick Internal Logic Control web interface is accessible without requiring user authentication. An unauthorized user could exploit this interface to manipulate robot control functions, including initiating or halting runners, assigning jobs, clearing stations, and deploying storage totes.

CVE-2025-64307 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.5 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N).

A CVSS v4 score has also been calculated for CVE-2025-64307. A base score of 7.1 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N).

3.2.2 UNPROTECTED TRANSPORT OF CREDENTIALS CWE-523

The Brightpick Mission Control web application exposes hardcoded credentials in its client-side JavaScript bundle.

CVE-2025-64308 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.5 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N).

A CVSS v4 score has also been calculated for CVE-2025-64308. A base score of 8.7 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N).

3.2.3 UNPROTECTED TRANSPORT OF CREDENTIALS CWE-523

The affected product discloses device telemetry, configuration, and credential information via WebSocket traffic to unauthenticated users when they connect to a specific URL. The unauthenticated URL can be discovered through basic network scanning techniques.

CVE-2025-64309 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3.1 base score of 8.6 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N).

A CVSS v4 score has also been calculated for CVE-2025-64309. A base score of 8.2 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:N/SA:N).

3.3 BACKGROUND

3.4 RESEARCHER

Souvik Kandar reported these vulnerabilities to CISA.

4. MITIGATIONS

Brightpick AI has not responded to requests to work with CISA to mitigate these vulnerabilities. Users of the affected products are encouraged to contact Brightpick AI for additional information.

CISA recommends users take defensive measures to minimize the risk of exploitation of these vulnerabilities, such as:

CISA reminds organizations to perform proper impact analysis and risk assessment prior to deploying defensive measures.

CISA also provides a section for control systems security recommended practices on the ICS webpage on cisa.gov/ics. Several CISA products detailing cyber defense best practices are available for reading and download, including Improving Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity with Defense-in-Depth Strategies.

CISA encourages organizations to implement recommended cybersecurity strategies for proactive defense of ICS assets.

Additional mitigation guidance and recommended practices are publicly available on the ICS webpage at cisa.gov/ics in the technical information paper, ICS-TIP-12-146-01B–Targeted Cyber Intrusion Detection and Mitigation Strategies.

Organizations observing suspected malicious activity should follow established internal procedures and report findings to CISA for tracking and correlation against other incidents.

No known public exploitation specifically targeting these vulnerabilities has been reported to CISA at this time.
